The Email address is frequently presented at either the top or the bottom of the index page, with a request for any questions or comments. If a user has any question as to the source of the information, how recent the information is (if not stated), or a request for more details, the author may be contacted. An Email address can also have an indirect effect on a user: if someone sees an inaccurate fact or knows of any additional information, that person may contact the author or webmaster. The author/webmaster may in turn post the new information on the web site, so that other viewer can benefit from the additional source. |
