A Web site usually has a lot of information available directly on the site or links to a number of other sites with similar information.  A well designed web site should give the viewer quick access to what the site has to offer.   Each page on the site should have links or buttons to previous pages on the site, the site's home page or index, and links to other pages on the same topic.  These links should be reached without a lot of difficulty,  such as  excessive scrolling or backtracking through irrelevant pages.
